Coincidentally enough, I came here for a business lunch with my company's Yelp account team!
I took off a star because the service was not good for any restaurant, let alone a former Michelin-star one. Maybe the removal of their Michelin-star status in 2019 contributed to the hostess' awful attitude.
We were originally supposed to have 4, but my boss couldn't make it so we had 3 in our party. When we told the hostess this upon arriving, you would think the world had ended. Not only was she so rude that our party count had changed, but she also told us that they might not be able to accommodate us AT ALL anymore, all because one person couldn't make it... She had one of the worst attitudes I have experienced and had us awkwardly stand in the midst of all these tables to the point where we were in the way of everyone as they tried to squeeze by us. We waited for almost 15 min and (shockingly) were seated at our original table minus a setting- what a concept!
Now onto the food, we were there during restaurant week, and I started with the tomato and ricotta appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. I then dined on the pasta, which was equally delicious. I ended with the cheesecake for dessert, which was all right. Admittedly, I don't have a huge sweet tooth.
Overall, food and ambiance were excellent, but it's a shame that the service affected the meal that much.
PSA to all restaurant owners: treat everyone as a 5-Star guest, because you never know if you're dealing with an entire Yelp team, or worse, Michelin Star's anonymous inspectors. -

This place does not disappoint on quality or service.
From the moment we arrived service was exceptional. The food was also great. We shared a lobster ravioli appetizer, good but not the highlight. She had the filet, mid-rare.. i had the herb crusted duck breast. Both were cooked perfectly and arrived at just the right pace.

Went to Aureole for Restaurant Week 2019 and brought a client. The restaurant week menu had good options and unlike many other restaurants during RW the lunch had a dessert option! (I always take it when they have it).
I ordered the charred octopus and shrimp to start which was tasty, although one of my guests got the heirloom tomatoes with burrata which frankly looked better. For my main I had the garanelli with pine nuts and it was delicious. Lastly I had the cheesecake that had peaches with it and it was very good.
Service was good although we had one person drop out of our party of 4 and they kept trying to reseat us because of it which took quite a while. Understand it's short notice but aren't tables of 3 and 4 generally the same? We weren't going to fit 3 at a two top. They couldn't find another table and we ended up just sitting at our original and it wasted time on a lunch where we needed to get back for meetings.
Aside from that, I definitely recommend! Michelin starred which is cool. -

My wife and our 2 guests had a terrific dinner at Aureole last night. We have been there many times and are always treated as old friends. Cannot say enough about Valerio Arena, the Director of Guest Relations. Charlie Palmer came to our table to say hello. The foie gras and lobster starters were superb. The crusted duck breast and Denver sole were excellent as was the salmon. The service was great as well. Our guests had never been to Aureole and raved about it. I recommend it without hesitation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Aureole. The service was top notch and the food was spectacular! I highly recommend the duck. My husband has the veal cheeks, equally delicious. We asked the sommelier, Tyler, to do a wine pairing for us and this made the meal all the more special. Tyler made us feel very welcomed, was very personable, and did an amazing job pairing beautiful wines with our multi course meal. An added bonus: Chef Palmer came into the dining room to greet some VIP's and stopped by our table to say hello and ask how we were enjoying the evening. He was very gracious and kind. Thanks for a very memorable evening. We'll definitely be back!
